This 2-day trek gives hikers the chance to discover in a very short space of time one of the Cordillera Blanca’s most stunning valleys.
The little-visited Quilcayhuanca Valley offers endless breath-taking mountain panoramas of imposing snow-caped peaks towering high above pristine emerald glacial lakes. Some of the most impressive flora and fauna of the Huascaran National Park can often be seen on the trek, and the low number of visitors means that your chances of seeing herds of vicuñas, viscachas and the emblematic Andean condor are largely increased.
